A Battle with Cancer Told in a Beautiful Way:

A Battle with Cancer Told in a Beautiful Way:

Before cancer, I lived life in a cloud,

Drifting, sometimes very high,

At times close to the ground.

Sometimes black, sometimes white,

Never truly knowing my height.

Not knowing where it began, or where it might end,

It took me years to see that cancer was, somehow, my friend.

I needed the right pieces to complete my frame,

I wished for the keys to unlock the door,

To stand again, and remember my name,

The reason for my living, the purpose I was searching for.

Cancer entered quietly, like a whisper in the night,

And I recall the sharp terror of that fright.

But the answers were simple, I now understand,

Cancer needs feeding in order to expand.

I starved it, I fought it, I gave it no right,

And at last, I won that long, dark fight.

Cancer was the rudder that steadied my stormy seas,

It opened my conscious mind with the right set of keys.

For 24 years, cancer has been gone, and I’m stronger than ever,

Though light as a feather, I’ll rebuild forever.

No one truly knows or understands the real me.

I share this so that you may see,

How many times I’ve sat in my consulting room and cried,

How often I’ve questioned hope in mankind.

Cancer need not be a sentence of pain,

Nor poisons, toxins, or lies again.

It can become an education, a revelation inside,

Where no one must suffer and no one must die.

Chemotherapy is derived from mustard gas, it steals life’s grace.

Radiation can burn more than the intended place.

Alternative paths can offer light,

A greater chance of healing, and reclaiming your right.

I no longer wish to cry behind closed doors,

Nor fight unseen battles as before.

My wish is to educate, to let knowledge flow,

The answers are simple, once you know,

Cancer needs a feed to grow.

When we focus on the cause, not just the pain,

We lift the veil, we break the chain.

Every living thing must feed to thrive,

But we can choose what keeps us alive.

Mainstream media tells us one in two

Will face this battle, it could be you.

But fear dissolves when truth appears,

Are we ready to listen, ready to hear?

Doctors of the mainstream have long denied

That other cures may stem the tide.

They offer chemo, surgery, radiation, and gas,

But we with open minds look through the glass.

They prod, they poke, they poison, they burn,

And call it healing at every turn.

It is time for faith in what we know,

To stop feeding cancer, to let it go.

There are clinics now, with proof in hand,

Voices of healing across the land.

The results are clear for those who see,

Lives restored, souls set free.

Many have walked this path before,

And found the answers life had in store.

A journey from fear to freedom, told with truth and light by Maryjayne Aria .
